I paid $40 for THIS? (2010-02-23) : 1/5
The commercials touted all kinds of cool things about this toy. My kids 8 and 10 wanted it so badly and put it on their Santa list which means it was one of 3 items that they REALLY wanted. Christmas morning my oldest was putting it together and a piece broke. We returned his to the store a few days later. I told him he could exchange it if he wanted but he said no and decided to hold on to the cash to put it towards a game he wanted. My second son struggled to put his together Christmas morning as well. Finally got it together with some help. Oh yay! That was it for him. Hasn't put it back together since. I rated this toy with 2 stars only because the individual Bakugan could actually be used. It was not for the 7-in-1 toy together. If this had been $20 it may have been worth it. But $40? Way over priced for what you're actually getting. IMHO, this commercial was completely misleading. To do that to a kid, especially around Christmas, is shameful!
toy (2010-02-12) : 3/5
its fun for kids to play with. was smaller than expected. fragile at times.
grandson loved the Bakugan! (2010-02-09) : 4/5
It seems like little boys around 5 years old are loving all these little Bakugan figurines. Only problem is that now he wants more! :-)
Keeps my son occupied for hours (2010-01-30) : 5/5
This toy was the top of my son's Christmas List. A bit pricey, but seeing the expression on his face was priceless
Seems cooler than it is (2010-01-30) : 3/5
My son got this toy for Christmas. He loves the idea of it, but it's complicated to attach all the pieces together and absolutely requires following the instructions to do so (not quite so easy for a 6 year old). Once the instructions were lost, so was the ability to rebuild the dragonoid. Also, one of the pieces broke on the first day. However, it didn't break in a way that prevented building the dragonoid. He generally plays with all the pieces as individual traps.
