We bought this for my 4 year old son who is just beginning to like Super Heroes based on the great reviews here. It is an awesome toy! Tons of activities on the cave and lots of pieces to expand the fun. Best of all, NO BATTERIES and NO NOISES!!!

My 3 yr old twin grandchildren told me that they wanted Batman along with the bad guys for their 4th birthday. I was impressed to see the reviews of this toy so I immediately put it my cart. I also bought a bunch of the accessories with the "bad guys". They live several states away and my daughter admitted that her and her husband enjoyed placing all the characters in fight scenes. She says they played for about two hours before going to bed! Their excuse was they wanted every thing in it's place so when the kids came down the next morning it would be ready for play! She said that it was well made and seemed to be sturdy. I thought the age range of 4-8 was great, so hopefully it will be around for a while and keep them interested in adding to their collections!

My grandsons are 4 and 6 and they love Batman and pretending to be him. This is a great toy for them but it did not hold their interest for excessive time until they got more characters because there was only so much they could do with it. If they have the villians and other figures it's better. I suggest that the more superfriends they have, than the more stories they can create.

My two sons (3 and 6) absolutly love love love this toy! They play with it constantly and have many of the accesories, making this an even more fun set. My older son has a physical disability and I love that he can operate all of the moving parts and really enjoy this toy just like anyone other child. His therapist has also recomended it as a way of working his fine motor skills while at home. Great toy, great fun, I love Imaginext!!

I would suggest buying some of the accessories pieces to go along with the set as well.
