I don't know how I would survive without my Magic 8 Ball. I originally bought it for my kids but have since given it in a hallowed place in my home. I built a shrine for it and offer it fresh vegetables out of my garden at least once a week. It has answered some VERY important questions for me ranging from, "Does this chicken smell funky?" to "Are my neighbors cannibals?" and it ALWAYS gives me the correct answer. I think if all world leaders consulted a Magic 8 Ball concerning their decisions the world would be a Utopia by now. br /br /I love it, I really do and I think it loves me too! But I'll ask it and then I'll know for sure!!!

It worked the first few times we tried it, but now it doesn't settle right and the answer is barely readable. Maybe this version is just a poor reproduction of the original.

I've wanted a magic 8 ball for years---one of those tiny little childhood wishes. Finally I shelled out for one. It's inexpensive, sure, but I'd rather pay an extra dollar or two and have it be better constructed. Instead, a combination of very dark-dyed liquid inside and a cracked and warped answer piece means that half the time the answers are unreadable. The quality of construction could be far better.

It was like opening a long anticipated book, only to find most of the pages were illegible...I ordered the Magic Eight Ball for some last day of school fun. We got the eight ball out and asked a couple of big future life questions and lo and behold...the "water" inside the ball was too dark and inky to read most of the answers. I felt like we were trapped in some bad "Final Destination" movie with no future in front of us. Yikes!

Every home should have an 8-ball and I think they do !! I loved this whimsical toy when I was a kid, then my kids loved it and now I bought one for my grand-daughter(age9). It's the type of thing that spans the generations. After all, to whom better can we ask questions about our fate, than the mystical 8 Ball??
