An Ok Nerf Gun (2010-07-30) : 3/5
I don't Know If it was just my gun in particular but i found that it's range was terrible. other things i didnt like about it was that the enormus drum clip takes at least 5 minutes to reload cause you have to find all the darts and then reload. not a very good gun:(
Raider CS-35 - Excellent if range isn't an issue. (2010-07-24) : 4/5
The NERF Raider CS-35 is an excellent blaster for someone to start getting into NERF, especially if you go for the 70-dart bonus pack that is sold here for only a couple extra dollars than this. With 70 darts total, you won't have to worry as much about losing darts, and the CS-35 drum clip is compatible with many other NERF blasters like the Recon and Longshot.br /br /The Raider has one major main feature, the slam-fire semi-auto. This allows you to quickly fire darts at a much higher rate than most other spring-powered blasters, by simply holding down the trigger and sliding the priming handle back and forth. The only blasters I can think of that can shoot faster than this are the Chainblazer, a much older NERF blaster, the Rapid Fire 20 and the Magstrike, which both are air-powered.br /br /However, the Raider sacrifices range for its rapid firing ability. With its reverse plunger system, it cannot shoot as far as direct plunger blasters such as the Longshot CS-6 or even a Nite Finder EX-3. This is also why the Longstrike has much less range than a Longshot. If you modify or play competitively, this is a consideration you will have to take into account.br /br /This is a great blaster all in all, just wish it wasn't reverse plunger.
great gun (2010-07-22) : 4/5
THis is a great nerf product, i'd watch who you buy it for though. I bought it for my eight year old nephew and a year later, the darts are all missing... to many to keep track of for the young ones to really care... he also puts it through hell, and its still kickin' so the duribility factor is outstanding. Definetly a recommended buy!
Nice Gun (2010-06-02) : 5/5
This Nerf Gun is a great one. When you open the box you can see the massve power right away. Also the only problem is when, you have to re load the massve drum. The two different firing modes are nice. but the best part is when you get into a war. The gun is not to heavy meaning that you can run faster.(unlike other guns). Also if you are firing it takes a long time to fire ALL 35 darts. The down side is you have to worry about losing your darts because there are so many. The range is good 20-30 FT., and is farily accurate depending on your dart. So this gun is really good and probably the best so far. br /br / 5 out of 5
Great Gun (2010-05-01) : 5/5
i think it is a great gun. the slam fire mode is really cool. You hold the trigger in and pump the handle back and foward. it shoots far too. i got mine 2 shoot 40 feet angled. the drum mag is great, but it makes the gun lean to one side. the only other bad thing is that sometimes the darts go 40 feet, but sometimes they only go two. it has a adjustable stock, and 2 tactical rails. the gun is so cool, the person you are shooting at will have no idea that 35 darts are about to slam into him:)br /br /Oh. Just to clear something up the "Bullets" are called DARTS! The Drum magizene is not called "Drum thingy." For some reason, it bugs me when people do not call them by the rightname. Oh, and if you think that 30-40 feet range on the gun is bad, Nerf was made for kids. But then again, I am a kid.:)
