Only worked intermittently. Did not work if the transmitter was any more than 2-3 feet from the tank. Suspect a defective product and hope not a defective design. On the other hand, Amazon very quickly and efficiently processed our refund once we sent it back at their expense. In other words, very happy with Amazon and very unhappy with the product.

This is a real spy video off roading vehicle. It is remote controlled and even has an audio feed that transmits wirelessly to a headset. The video camera turns 360 degrees so you won't miss anything and all of it is viewed from a remote LCD screen. This is the perfect gift for the ultra curious tot who loves adventure. I kind of want one for myself to spy on my neighbors with! But of course, never say that to your tots =) br /br /reviewed by[...].

My son saved up some gift money to buy this toy. He was very excited about it. Somehow we managed to buy two and, of course, you can't cancel an order on Amazon. If you can, someone tell me how. The first one arrived quickly. We opened it and it would not work. We bought new batteries and it still did not work. So we sent it back. The second one works and still works. It's a lot of fun for my son and his friends. This thing takes a lot of batteries, but seems to be fairly efficient so far.

My 10 year old son loves this item. He isn't just having fun, but is improving his motorskills by learning to navigate the device. The danger in the toy is that when it stops, the person navigating can hear everything you are staying, so beware of it's location! :)

I had reservations about purchasing this when my son intially brought it up...how often have you seen these type toys fail to deliver on how they are advertised to perform? Not the case here! The camera actually works, the remote control function performs at an acceptable distance, and around walls and corners. My son loves it!
